Our School Picnic
It is truly said that – ‘All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.’
Picnics are very important and an integral part of learning and they enhance our mental and physical health adding pleasantness to our lives.
A picnic for grades 9 and 11 was organised at the ‘Vas Farm’ on 13thFebruary, 2025. The students were very excited and got together a day in advance to plan the food each student would bring for the picnic.
On 13th morning the students excitedly formed queues and moved out to the farm. The excitement in the air was contagious. The sumptuous colourful spread of food was home-made, eye-catching and delectable. You name it – and it was there- Bhel, Dahi Bhalla, Burger, French Fries, Pizza, Puffs, Juices,Tikki, Kachori etc.
After a delightful meal the children enjoyed activities like kho-kho, catching – catch, blind man’s buff etc.
All in all, it was a delight to see the children reignite love and form bonds with one another.
